The Benefits of Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation’s Care Center Network

Since 2014, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation has been working with the medical community to create the PFF Care Center Network. The network is a place where pulmonary fibrosis (PF) patients can go to find medical professionals experienced in treating people with the condition and who have the appropriate support services to make life easier for those living with the disease.

There are medical centers across the U.S. that are part of the PFF Care Center Network. They have the expertise to diagnose and treat and manage all aspects of pulmonary fibrosis.  These centers have a multidiscipline approach and employ medical experts to cover all areas of care, including specialized nurses, pulmonary medicine specialists, radiologists, pathologists, and rheumatologists.

In addition to providing excellent care, clinics involved in the PFF Care Center Network are also part of the PFF Patient Registry. The registry records patient data to help with the study of the disease, including research into best practices, improved treatments and ultimately, a cure for the disease.
