    I wanted to take a few minutes of your time to introduce myself. My name is Sam Kirton and I will join Charlene as a moderator in the Pulmonary Fibrosis Forums. I have been a columnist at Pulmonary Fibrosis News for almost three years writing a weekly column, Make Every Breath Count. 

    I was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in January 2017 and received a bilateral lung transplant in July 2021. I continue on this journey, focusing on making a difference every day.

    I write from my home at Lake Anna Virginia and I look forward to joining you on your journey.
