Are you a caregiver for someone living with pulmonary fibrosis (PF)?

First and foremost, thank you. We couldn’t navigate this life-threatening lung disease without your help. Second, we know this is not an easy role and that you deserve someone to care for you sometimes too.

Recently, a publication was released from Elizz on the importance of emotional regulation for caregivers and finding different ways for people to manage their emotions while caregiving. The full article can be found here.

If you are a caregiver for any type of chronic (or acute) illness, Elizz is an excellent resource for you to check out. Their existence is for the caregiver, and their tagline is: All Things Caregiving. While I am not a caregiver, and instead am the patient living with IPF; I’ve heard on multiple occasions that caregivers feel lonely, isolated or misunderstood by others who aren’t in the same position. If you’re feeling this way, Elizz is a good resource for you to check out!

Please remember there are also various online platforms to help caregivers feel more connected. Whether those are Facebook pages online, this forum or other online websites; please reach out if you are overwhelmed in your role of caregiving. We’re so grateful for all you do for us, but we know it is important for you to be taken care of and supported too!

Do you know of any other particularly helpful resources for caregivers helping loved ones through a chronic illness?
