Short Bio

I’m married and live with my wife on the edge of Rugby (yes, the place where the game was invented). I was diagnosed with IPF about 18 months ago and have been a patient of the Respiratory Unit of the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire. They immediately put me on 2 x 150 mg Nintedanib a day – with all the usual side-effects. But, it seems that the suffering from diarrhea and nausea might have been worthwhile as my lung performance seems to have stopped deteriorating more recently. I take loperamide to help manage the diarrhea and omaprazole to address the nausea and acid re-flux. They are not 100% effective and we have to plan our trips around toilet availability!
