Short Bio

I am 78 years old and American/Australian. My husband is 79 years old and has cancer. We have 5 children.  I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis January 26th 2009. The initial treatment was Cyclophosphamide given intravenously every 28 days for five months. I was on oxygen until able to walk certain distances without it. I only suffered small progressive lose of breath until January 2016 when I was put back on oxygen at 3%, 24/7 only having to using a higher rate of  5% under exertion. The next year was one of increased lose of breath resulting in extended hospital stays twice. I was put on 100 MG of Viagra, 1/2 morning and night to help the heart cope with decreased lung capacity. The oxygen was put on whatever I felt I needed.  I am presently as of January 2019 on 100MG of Viagra twice a day for the heart which is beginning to show damage from the malfunction of the lungs and I am on 12% oxygen 24/7. I have to have my daughter come in to shower and dress me and take me to doctor appointments. My husband has health issues but does what he can around the house which is a lot. I have people come to me to do house cleaning, hair cuts and podiatry. My highlight of the week is Thursday night Bingo as long as my portable oxygen converter on 6% keeps me breathing while in a wheelchair pushed by my daughter or grandchildren.
