Biography

My entire family got COVID July 2020.  Our kids barely had symptoms.  I experienced what seemed a really bad, month-long cold.  My wife ended up in ICU for three weeks on a bi-pap where her medical team expected her to die.  She did not die and when she came home we celebrated that we had “survived”.  All went well until January of 2021 when we started to notice some troubling symptoms and May of 2021 she was officially diagnosed with IPF.  I know this is not really IPF, because it is a direct result of COVID.  My wife went from being a relatively healthy, active woman to being on oxygen 24 x 7 and needing a wheelchair when we leave the house.  While our lives have been turned upside down, our faith in God’s goodness has helped us during this troubling time.
