Biography

I was diagnosed with IPF in 2016 after noticing shortness of breath while in the North Carolina mountains at 5000ft. I returned to Florida and went to a Pulmonary specialist who diagnosed it as IPF. He prescribed Esbriet. After six months I changed to OFEV that was obtained through the VA .  I’ve been taking it twice a day for about six years. It has slowed the progress of IPF. In the meantime, I developed PH as well. I started TYVASO last year and am at nine breaths every four hours. Lately I noticed it’s wearing off around 3 1/2 hours. I have an appointment with my doctor next week and I will mention it.
