Do either of you have pneumonitis where it takes longer to process oxygen? Do you have a good oximeter with a good battery? Mine does the same thing and it is because I have pneumonitis,

There are over 400 types of interstitial lung disease so that is why some will have a shorter life span than others. I believe that I have put mine into remission or stabilized it for over 4 years now. My IPF is nonspecific pneumonitis.

Just to let everyone know about WEI lab. It is a free phone call to get all the successful case studies from them and from the doctors that treat the patients. WEI has doctors and herbalists in all parts of the country that monitor the success from the herbs. They will send you several websites with different information from clients and doctors. No side effects from the herbs like Ofev and Esbriet. How much do you pay for Esbriet or Ofev. There are 3 people on this site that had success with the herbs that I talked to last year. It’s a free phone call to get the information. Also that statistics are 90% of people with IPF live 3-5 years (which is now 4-7 years) especially when detected early. 5% live less than 3 years and 5% live indefinitely.there are other people on this site that get laser treatment for the scarring and several that take serrapeptase for the scarring besides green tea extract. Call Frankie at WEI and she will send you everything you need.

Yes Eileen, by both docs at Cleveland Clinic and U of Michigan. They don’t endorse them because they don’t study them but said to take them if I believe it is helping. No side effects, just better breathing.

Carlo, it was the herb because I was playing hockey while my breathing was getting rapidly worse. I ordered the herbs and in the third week I started noticing a difference. There are many cases where people would go off oxygen, in fact, I believe Steve Dragoo was able to quit oxygen and the doctor on this site. I did go to Germany and Austria around that time and visited every cathedral and lit a candle so maybe divine intervention played a role. My next lung test improved and my 4 tests since have been the same or better. As far as the GERD I tried it for two weeks, had a manometry test right after and it showed ZERO trace of GERD! I ordered a month worth of tea for immunity for COVID-19 and a two week supply of herbs that showed a 90% cure rate in Wuhan. I keep it handy in case I contract the disease. Maybe that is why China is so far ahead of the other countries. I their herbs definitely work for me.
Call Frankie at 6128088785 and she can give you any info you want.

    Hi Sam,

I used the herbs from WEI Labs for 3 months when my fibrosis was progressing back in 2017, and for 1 month in 2018 and one month in 2019 to keep me stabilized. I had a lung function test last month and it was the same as my original test when I was diagnosed, in fact a couple tests should my numbers improved the last two times and I believe it was because I was back playing hockey. So I have been 100 % stable since my diagnosis. I have used their herbs for a couple other things like GERD and they really work but they are expensive. Ask for Frankie if you call there.

Thought I would reply here. I was also disqualified at the U of M study of 1690 since my scarring was not bad enough. Watching for other clinical studies too…

I can’t believe the heading is worded wrong and they didn’t catch it! It says the tea extract stops ANTI fibrotic process. Shouldn’t it be PRO or leave the word ANTI out?

Brian Southern is my Cleveland Clinic doctor. He diagnosed my usual interstitial pneumonitis by the scarring pattern on the CT and his panel was unanimous about NOT having a biopsy which would have ended my passion of playing hockey. I really like him.

No, it was absolutely the WEI herbs. I was close to quitting hockey after 50 years because my breathing was decreasing rapidly. I took the herbs for 2 months and my breathing was greatly increased!! everyone on this forum that has taken Wei herbs has improved, in fact everyone from the west has improved.

Leontis, my co2 level was 59% at diagnosis. It has improved to 69%, 72% twice and 89% in my last lung function test in June after the WEI lab herbs.

Good for you John! I am paying close attention to your numbers because I also have usual interstitial pneumonitis. I have raised my DLCO numbers from 59% at diagnosis to 89% in June. All of my other numbers are good. I haven’t started the laser therapy yet but I will when needed. the Wei herbs have improved my numbers a lot!

I forgot to mention that the BG00011 testing is a weekly self administered shot and a monthly shot at the Clinic (2 hours one way drive), plus CT scans, PFTs, blood tests, etc. I would much rather do a phase 3 pills instead of phase 2b shots…

Hi Joe, I have posted several times that I tried WEI Labs (Chinese herbs) and it seemed to have stopped my progression back in 2017. I was regressing and noticed while playing hockey, got diagnosed then did some research and found WEI Labs. They stopped my progression after 30 days and my next 8 PFTs have been stable or better than my original test. I did take them for 90 days and a 2 week profilactic dose once a year. Several others on this site have had different degrees of success. One went off oxygen. They are expensive.

I have several friends and my self that say it is from certain types of hand sanitizer and using a soap with no lotion or anything to help skin oils. That is what a dermatologist told me and said to use Amerlactin which keeps the skin moist. It has made a difference for me. She also said not to use antibacterial soaps which also dries the skin out.

I take a two week profalactic dose once a year but I believe the 90 day treatment in 2017 may have STOPPED my progression since my numbers have changed and have improved slightly. My next lung function test is next month so I will see if the DLCO has changed. I also took a two week treatment for GERD two years ago that was also successful and I have a two week treatment on standby for the coronavirus which was tested over 90% successful in Wuhan, China in March because I believe these herbs work! I know they helped others on this site with IPF.

My DLCO was 59%when diagnosed in 2017. After taking WEI Lab Chinese herbs the numbers went from 69%, 76% twice and my last test was 89% in June. The herbs work!

Steve,  I took the WEI herbs for 2 months in August of 2017 and it seemed to STOP any progression any helped my breathing a lot. They suggest to do an occassional 2 week or monthly dose once a year which I do. The herbs seemed to have stopped the progression if there was any because my last 4 function tests have been stable or improved and the one I had last week was my best to date, raising my low DLCO number 7%! I just took my annual dose recently. I know they work! I understand that Dr. Hall is having success with them also.

Suzanne, keep me posted on your study. I am waiting to be called at U of M to start the study. I am actually nervous about doing it because I am feeling great right now and I am wondering if I could trigger something with the disease.
