I’ve been on pirfenidone for 6 years And my Pulmonary doctor Is put me in for jascayd. It has not been approved yet but she wants me to take my old medication plus 18 mg of jasayd Together.

I’ve been taking pirfenidone For 6 years at 801 mg per day now my doctor Wants to add 18 mg jasscaid to the mix. She is trying to get the okmy insurance company but they denied it twice so far we’ll keep on trying she says it should be a big game changer if we get this. Judy, there’s an assistance fund called “The Assistance Fund” that helps with co-pays and it’s currently open for new patients with IPF.

if by hurting you mean acid reflex which is a common side affect using Esbriet try, using omeprazole it works for me. I get really bad heart burn without it.

I’m taking Esbriet and one of the side effects is GERD, so I take omeprazole 20 mg and my heart burn is pretty much gone.
