I like to sleep on my left side with my upper body hugging an extra long pillow. I get my best sleep in that position but it only lasts for 2 to 3 hours. The rest of the time is spent tossing and turning with no good quality sleep.

Hope things are well.

I have not been to a ENT DOCTOR BUT I HAVE LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH MY Sinuses? It seems that they are stuffed up most of the time. I will be mentioning this again to my PCP in the near future. On the rare occasion that my sinuses are open and I still have a problem breathing that is when reality hits.

My doctor gave me 2 inhalers for the emphysema . I don’t think they help much. I am not on medication for pulmonary fibrosis as of yet but I wish I was. From what I understand the sooner you get on the medication for PF the better you chances are to slowing down the symptoms.

Will see my doctor in October and if I am still unhappy with his treatment I will be looking for a new doctor. I do think time is of the essence. The sooner you get on the correct medication the better. I am only 60 years old and in good health otherwise so maybe I could do clinical trials.

Thanks…

I was not expecting to add 7 minutes to each mile in just one year. I am glad that I still walk and get some exercise just didn’t expect to move that much slower. I keep my breathing the same just move slower. I do not want to short change my doctor so I will see him in October and if I am still not happy…

I do try to exercise my lungs as you said. It is a little discouraging that in one year I have added 7 minutes to one mile. I used to do 3 miles in 45 minutes now same 3 miles take me 68 minutes but I keep going to get the exercise. I am hoping they find a cure for this.
