My husband started on OFEV at the end of December and he’s had diarrhea almost every day. I hope that isn’t the case for you. He hasn’t lost or gained any weight. He does think his teeth are starting to loosen up, which he said he’s read losing teeth and hair loss could be side effects. Good luck to you on your journey.

Hi John,

Thank you for the information. Is your Afib caused from the OFEV?

If my husband is not on oxygen yet, do you suggest still getting some to take in case he needs it on the long plane ride?

We live with and take care of my father in law, so it’s hard for us to ask him to not smoke, but I will look into getting an air purifier…

I understand about not being able to eat what you want. I just tell him sometimes he should dial back on the junk food. I know how hard that is because that’s what I love to eat too.
