    • Welcome to the PF forums Marisa. Thanks for joining us!

      • Thank you! I just found out yesterday that my actual diagnosis at this time (I find it can change) is CTD-ILD rather than Pulmonary Fibrosis. Of course, I still have the scarring on the lungs but now, as I understand it, my immune system (I have Sjorgrens, Antisynthetase syndrome, and polymyositis) is attacking my lungs. I guess there is a war inside my body. I am CellCept and prednisone (trying to lower this dosage but can’t yet). I would be interested to know if anyone else on this forum is dealing with all the autoimmune disorders. I go to a neurologist on Monday and I am fully expecting her to tell me I have another autoimmune disorder. I was diagnosed in June of this year, but I the pulmonologist labels me with advanced lung disease. I am only 62 :-(. I am on oxygen therapy — without it, I would not be functioning. I feel like I have received all this news through a fire hose over the past few months.

        • Hi Marisa, yes there are other members on the forum who deal with other autoimmune conditions, including Sjogren’s. Sarcoidosis also comes to mind as one I see mentioned pretty regularly. You can use the search bar on the right of the page to search keywords and find conversations relevant to you. “auto-immune” or “sjorgens” might be a good place to start. 🙂 Best of luck with the diagnosis process–sounds like you’re on the right track of getting to the heart of this. I hope you can get some answers soon.
