Biography

I am newly diagnosed with IPF.  I am on OFEV.  I am here to gain knowledge about this disease and hopeful that by oarticipaing in this form that I will be able to be prepared to ask the right questions at the right time.  I am scared.  We did not expect this diagnosis.  I presented with a a productive cough, sweats, compromised ability to breathe and to sustain my breath.  The best that I can see is that there is a very good chance that this came on suddenly during the aftermath of a surgery back in 2014 when my Blood oxygen plummeted to 74 or less after surgery.  They did many tests at that time but it was not detected then.  I am 67.
