Hi Joe, I have posted several times that I tried WEI Labs (Chinese herbs) and it seemed to have stopped my progression back in 2017. I was regressing and noticed while playing hockey, got diagnosed then did some research and found WEI Labs. They stopped my progression after 30 days and my next 8 PFTs have been stable or better than my original…[Read more]

@michele55 Michele, my father and brothers all had the dupuytrens contracture on their hands and had treatment or surgery. I have IPF (Pneumonitis) and Im sure there is no relation to both of them.

Thank you for your reply. I have since since a Rheumatologist and they agree with you. No connection to ipf just a coincidence.

@samgilmore Hi Sam. I used the herbs for 3 months when my disease was progressing. It started helping me in the second month and after the third month I went back to playing hockey which is my passion. I did a preventative month treatment a year later and then a two week preventative the next year. I was diagnosed in 2016 and my last 5 lung…[Read more]

I have several friends and my self that say it is from certain types of hand sanitizer and using a soap with no lotion or anything to help skin oils. That is what a dermatologist told me and said to use Amerlactin which keeps the skin moist. It has made a difference for me. She also said not to use antibacterial soaps which also dries the skin…[Read more]

@mhkhan93 If you are talking about DLCO which I believe is the diffusion which I think is the gas exchange in the blood then you might have pneumonitis like I have (nonspecific Pneumonitis) which showed up in my blood test. My lung tests and ct scan are the same as they were 4 years ago when I took the herbs. I believe that my lung disease is from…[Read more]

There are over 400 types of interstitial lung disease so that is why some will have a shorter life span than others. I believe that I have put mine into remission or stabilized it for over 4 years now. My IPF is nonspecific pneumonitis.

Just to let everyone know about WEI lab. It is a free phone call to get all the successful case studies from them and from the doctors that treat the patients. WEI has doctors and herbalists in all parts of the country that monitor the success from the herbs. They will send you several websites with different information from clients and doctors.…[Read more]

Yes Eileen, by both docs at Cleveland Clinic and U of Michigan. They don’t endorse them because they don’t study them but said to take them if I believe it is helping. No side effects, just better breathing.

@rammbo . Douglas, you should consider trying WEI lab herbs. They are a little less than what you are paying but you can try a 2 week supply to see if they begin to work for you. Several on this site have improved and a couple have gotten off oxygen. I was stabilized over 4 years ago and my tests have been steady and consistent ever since actually…[Read more]

Carlo, it was the herb because I was playing hockey while my breathing was getting rapidly worse. I ordered the herbs and in the third week I started noticing a difference. There are many cases where people would go off oxygen, in fact, I believe Steve Dragoo was able to quit oxygen and the doctor on this site. I did go to Germany and Austria…[Read more]

    Hi Sam,

I used the herbs from WEI Labs for 3 months when my fibrosis was progressing back in 2017, and for 1 month in 2018 and one month in 2019 to keep me stabilized. I had a lung function test last month and it was the same as my original test when I was diagnosed, in fact a couple tests should my numbers improved the last two times and I…[Read more]

I take a two week profalactic dose once a year but I believe the 90 day treatment in 2017 may have STOPPED my progression since my numbers have changed and have improved slightly. My next lung function test is next month so I will see if the DLCO has changed. I also took a two week treatment for GERD two years ago that was also successful and I…[Read more]

Thought I would reply here. I was also disqualified at the U of M study of 1690 since my scarring was not bad enough. Watching for other clinical studies too…

@johns I also was disqualified for the 1690 Galapagos testing at U of M for the same reason, not at the stage they were looking for, so I am watching for other clinical studies.

Thanks for your update Denny. Keep me posted if you find a trial and I will do the same. Seems these trials are very selective in what they actually want.

I can’t believe the heading is worded wrong and they didn’t catch it! It says the tea extract stops ANTI fibrotic process. Shouldn’t it be PRO or leave the word ANTI out?

HI Richard, I am glad you are using WEI herbs. As I have said many times in this forum that I used the soups for my IPF and it either stopped my IPF or slowed so much that my next 5 lung function tests improved or remained stable. I volunteered for the clinical trial of GLPG1690 at U of M back in October so they did all of my tests and…[Read more]
