I am 80 years old and was diagnosed in 2018 after suffering from shortness of breath. It has been traced back to my exposure on 9/11. I have been certified into the 9/11 WTC Health program. My Pulmonologist suggested Esbriet after my visit in Dec. 2019 but after receiving the pills and the various information on the side effects from Genetech I have hesitated to  take the medication.
