Dave
Thanks for your very informative response to the question. I am 5 years in with IPF and awaiting a decision of whether i qualify for a transplant. Had to give up my p/t job last year due to a deterioration in my oxygen levels. Would love to be able to go back to work if transplanted as this virus deal is driving me nuts. Does anyone know if high heat and humidy can contribute to lower oxygen levels.
I am in Hawaii and have noticed my level drops seriously when walking without my portable oxygen concentrater. I use an oximeter for my readings.I hope i am not stealing this thread but i could not see how to start a new one.

I am in Canada and have only seen units from the US. Nothing the matter with that except I would have to pay duty on top of an expensive purchase. Does anyone have info…[Read more]

Hi @bmiller2653, thanks for your post and connecting with us regarding portable oxygen concentrators (POC). I’ve actually flown several times with my POC, so hopefully I can provide you with some insight into this. I use the Respironics SimplyGo machine and it is FAA approved, meaning it can go on any flight safely, when used in battery mode only…[Read more]

Hi @bmiller2653, no problem, thanks for checking in and I’m glad to hear you’re doing okay and taking things day to day. That seems to be the best thing we can do sometimes, doesn’t it? Take care and feel free to connect on these forums any time!
Warm regards,
Charlene.
