My dear husband, Ed Elliot, passed away from complications of IPF on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023. He was a fighter till the end. I know he really appreciated the opportunity to share on this forum and to provide feedback about his experiences in the hopes that it would help someone else.</p>

<p>For me, the <strong>additional 3mg</strong> is a very slight risk into any negatives.</p>

There is a learning curve. Been there.</p>
<p>The PFT&#8217;s are tools for monitoring up&#8217;s and down&#8217;s such as progress or diminishing breathing. Failure to perform the tasks will not alter a diagnosis. So don&#8217;t worry. It was discovered that she had little or no Immunigobulin G (IGG) which lines our nasal area among other membranes. So she suffered frequent pneumonias, bronchiectasis, sinus infections, and lung scarring all those years. Her lungs were scarred from all the pneumonias. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anyone on Ofev having the experience of food tasting bland or differently? Last week my usual hoagie at Jersey Mike&#8217;s seemed tasteless. Other sandwiches seem to activate the bitter taste buds in my posterior lateral tongue. &#8230; And by the way Imodium (loperamide, generically) has successfully counteracted diarrhea for me.</p>

I find it easy to put myself in it. My time will come, but unlike your Dad I had no problem with diapers. I wore them early on before imodium controlled the sudden onsets of diarrhea from the drug Ofev. Again, your narrative is very much appreciated. Cheers, Ed E.</p>
