Starting to sweat profusely. Had to have rotator cuff surgery and sleeping in my chair for comfort. It’s leather, but I put a lightwievht blanket on it. So I’m not touching it direct. Then during the night I wake up with my arms actually sweating! I’ve gained weight and feel bloated. Weight gain from less movement due to healing. And becom […] View

    Hi Charlene,

I get short fevers daily. And most of the time they dissipate after a few minutes. If the don’t, and the Tylenol does not work, I get a hand towel and get it good and wet, and just keep applying it till it goes away I’ll put it over my forehead, the top of my head, and under my chin. That really works. Seems under the chin is sen…[Read more]

That is great. I’m just now seeing this a year later. I found a supplement that helped for most of a year, but I’ve gotten sick again. So I left those boards and life smoothed out on the stress levels. I got voted into a new one. But no additional work so should be fine…. I hope you are doing well. Let me know please….

    Hi Mark,
Things did improve, but I started having night sweats, not related to menopause, and I had found a supplement that kept me from getting sick from colds. Now I’m back sick again after nearly a whole year of no colds. It’s so discouraging. But, I also realize this disease will be with me forever. I just need to find more coping mec…[Read more]

Hello Ginger, I’m sorry to hear about your current troubles with starting. I don’t know far you are out from surgery but I have had problems with being overheated after surgery especially when taking pain medicines. Also I always felt the anesthesia may have had a hand in my overheating. I hope things get better soon. Best wishes, Mark.

Seems I’m still getting sick every time I turn around. And stress. That can’t be good for me. I’m on the BOD of a couple non profits, and thinking this life is getting shorter by the day. The stress is not worth it, I need to let them go.
Do with my last years or days being happier. How have others dealt with this please?

I hear you, I haven’t worked for all of 2018 but then as I said earlier I’m on oxygen 24/7 so this would not even be possible …..I have very little stress now what with not working , and have worked hard to not have negativity in my life and it really does help my mental state …..

    Hello!

i was a professional photographer for 22years in Myrtle Beach, SC.

But before that, I painted. And I still do. I use acetllics and pasterls .

Its amazing how something you love to do can nearly transport you to a peaceful state.

I hope everyone here has something that makes them happy, that they can do for the fun and enjoyment of it.

Most definitely! Thanks for the suggestion on the type of Mack. I too use hand sanitizer constantly, even after I sneeze around my nose and mouth area. Thank you Carlene!

Hi @ginger-adelstone, thanks for your reply although so sorry to hear you keep catching colds/flus. That must feel terrible for you, and very frustrating as well! I worry about this too because similar to you, every cold or virus jeopardizes my lung function which is reflected in my PFTs dropping after every time I get sick. I’m not sure what I…[Read more]
