Hi John,

I have taken Gabapentin in high doses for cough from the Pulmonary Fibrosis. It worked wonders for me. I did taper off under my pulmonologists direction. I had no side effects during the tapering.

If you want to taper off, I would do that with medical guidance.

Yesterday I had cataract surgery and was given Propofol for Conscientious Sedation. By the time I returned home, my cough was worse than it has been in a long time and continued through most of today.
Has anyone experienced increase cough after Conscientious Sedation with Propofol.
