My younger brother had Sarcoidosis,</p>
<p>another lung disease, which led to his receiving  a double lung transplant in 2007 </p>

<p>I am a 78 year old with IPF and was diagnosed in 2020. I am not a doctor . My pulmonologist told me from the outset to ensure I continued to exercise to help slow the progress of my IPF. My exercise primarily consists of getting out walking every day and the occasional trip to our gym to do some light weight lifting and stretching. I&hellip;</p>

<p>This article caught my attention. My younger brother ( who passed away in 2022) had sarcoidosis. In 2007 he had a double lung transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota which resulted in his having 15 more good years. Who knows when my IPF started? It may have been going on for years but suddenly it just reared its ugly head? I haven’t played ice hockey for the last 12 years as I had a full knee replacement and it didn’t go as well as it should have.
