I was on OFEV for 8 months with the worst diarrhea and was taking up to 4 loperamide 2x a day with no relief, I couldnt go anyplace ! My Primary Care Dr sent me to a GI doctor and they did stool samples. The results came back that I had severe pancreatic insufficiency, test results <21 Elastase and abnormal Lactoferrin. OMG, I started OFEV 9/4/23 with constant bowel problems, bad much of the time. I have tried everything including lopermide 4mg am and pm, No results.
