If your VSO will not assist you  then contact any of the service organizations such as the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, or Disabled American Veterans. It&#8217;s also very uncomfortable.  I wish there was a better way, because I need oxygen more and more as this thing progresses. </p>

VA service connected disabled for IPF under the PACT ACT.  I had respiratory issues as far back as the mid 1970s following surgery and throughout my career. My IPF has been determined by the VA to have orientation from herbicide exposure from the early 1970s.  I began to experience breathing problems recovering from a major surgery in 1977 and anytime I was recovering from general anesthesia.  The VA was aware of scarring of my lungs at&hellip;</p>

Plus,  add a hydraulic top link and hydraulic side link to my tractor.  10 years ago I could complete those tasks easily in a morning.  Whenever possible I buy power tools to make those tasks easier. At the top of my bucket list was to have my own Skeet Range on my property.  Two years ago I made that dream come true. I had it done up correctly and it is a regulation range. Each test is becoming more and more  difficult to recover from with my lungs hurting with each breath. It took nearly 9 months to get approved for Esbriet by the VA.  It took another 2 years to see a good result in my PFTs.  I was confirmed with IPF by biopsies in April 2020 and have been treated by Mercy system since diagnosed.  The VA was funding&hellip;</p>

I was officially diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in April 2020 by biopsies of both lungs.  Turns out the VA was aware of scaring of my lungs for at least ten years prior to the diagnosis.
