- Short Bio
I had a lymphoma in 2012, received Bleomyacin and radiation. Inactivity during that time caused a pulmonary embolism in 2013, I recovered well from that but suffered a heart attack in 2017. In 2019 I started having breathing issues, an x-ray showed signs of pulmonary fibrosis, confirmed through CT scan in November 2019, it was officially labeled IPF with suspicion of chemo/radiation cause. In February 2020 I started O2 while exertion, this is getting progressively worse to the point of oxy levels dropping to the low 70’s at times. May 7th I will go to Mayo Clinic here in MN for a consultation for a lung transplant.
Until April 20, 2020 I was working 12 hour shifts in a food packaging plant, but realize that I can no longer do this, it’s just too exhausting. I have applied now for short term disability through work (so I can keep my insurance and have at least some income).
