<p>Yes it was that ever persistent cough. On a return trip from Houston, out of the blue every time I breathed deep I would  cough. At first I thought nothing of it, thinking it would go away. Then the shortness of breath showed up when I did my running. I went and had a virtual physical and all was good except the radiologist said&hellip;</p>

Of course I was told I was told I had the disease for about 5 years. Was put on ofev and 24/7 oxygen. I decided to get listed for a bilateral lung transplant WOW! I&#8217;ve always been in good shape, never smoke or worked around chemicals. Yet this disease found me. <ul>
<li>I believe you should start the antifibrotics. Having IPF for seven years I started taking medication in my 6th year. The disease took hold and now I am awaiting a transplant. If I started it would prolonged couple more years. I wish you the best with your decision.</li>

<p>I share your struggle.  I can stay positive  but not all the time. I am going through pre-transplant work up. I will need a bilateral transplant. Life has its twist and turns,  somethings are out of our control.  I will pray for you, may the Lord strengthen your faith and his spirit walk with you on this journey. &#x1f64f;</p>
