I was on OFEV. I tried adding Tyvaso a month ago. It was a nebulizer every 4 hours. With each treatment my IO2 sat declined by 4 percent for 2-3 hours. Also had dizziness thru the day. Stopped after a week. I have to say each person may react differently

I believe Esbriet which is equally effective is now sold as generic at much lower cost. I am on Medicare and my monthly copay for OFEV is $680

Not to discourage anyone, I just read the report and the big improvement from from 52% to 86% is for the ratio of FEV1 (Forced exhalation in 1 sec) over FVC (forced exhalation achievable).  FVC is the true measurement of IPF severity.  The ratio shows that FEV1 increased significantly but the improvement of FVC is not discussed.  Clearly it did… Read more
