My doctor said Ofev works best in the early stages.  Pay attention to the timing of your medications.  Take care to prevent Covid and also viral infections.  Continue aerobic exercise.  These things should pay off.  You are young and should have the choice of a lung transplant if&hellip;</p>

Over the past 10 years IPF and Pulmonary Fibrosis have been added to the list.  I have been on Ofev for some time and also take Mycophenolat 500mg &#8211; 2 tablets twice a day.  Since it appears to be an auto immune disease I have continued  taking&hellip;</p>

He doesn&#8217;t have to like it.  The nursing home might have a porch area where he can smoke.  </p>
<p>Medicare will help with one home concentrator.  They won&#8217;t add a portable unit.  Maybe more help if on Medicade.</p>

The airlines are not happy with people who get on a flight and then need oxygen they could have planned for.  It could hurt your return flight.</p>

The less expensive ones do better. </p>

I had the flu and rsv shots earlier.  In late December I was feeling weary and my oxygen was dropping during the day.  No fever, no sore throat, but a bad cough.</p>
<p>I have only needed additional oxygen when sleeping or flying but my oxygen was going down and I needed my portable concentrator. &hellip;</p>
