When my husband’s cough would not go away, he was referred to a pulmonologist who said that he had “just a little scarring of the lungs &#8211; nothing to be concerned about.”<br />

St Josephs In Phoenix was happy to evaluate him, listed him and provided the transplant. Never assume that one denial means everyone will deny you. Not true.</p>

Even though my husband had two stents in his heart, they requireD that a third stent be inserted. They took care of that and then listed him when he had an exacerbation. He had his double bypass within three days of being listed. He was turned down at UC San Diego because of his age, 68.  He was excepted at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix which has an excellent track record and there’s a high-volume lung transplant center. It is good to know that my husband is not the only person who has the severe lung pain. The doctor looked so surprised when he described it to him. I actually use it every morning as a preventative measure. I noticed that when I forget after a couple of days the problem arises again.</p>
