Contact BI. They have a nurse to answer questions like that. a mainstream doctor probably has no idea of the side effects.

An inogen 6 (I own one) does NOT go up to 6 lpm. And leading you to believe that it does is horribly unethical. I believe the max lpm on any Inogen is 2.6 lpm. . Please reD the Oxygen Mankfesto part 2. Y Dr. Noah Greenspan to get an idea of the limitations of POCs.

I have an Inogen G 5 and the maximum liters per minute is about 2.6 lpm at the 6 setting. It is important to know that the settings are NOT liters per minute. Inogen is not good about explaining that.

I WISH any FDA certified device would suffice! but that is not true and it would be dangerous to tell someone with even moderately high O2 needs that is the case.

After Hurricane Ida when we were without power for weeks and for much of that time gas for the generator was not available and Lincare was closed we bought a solar generator.

After spine surgery it was prescribed for me but I refused to take it after reading side effects. It specifically said people with lung issues should not take it. There are better alternatives.
