Short Bio | Diagnosed with IPF and acute asthma 2 years ago. I’m on Ofev and Dupixent. These 2 meds have given me much more energy to do the things I love, like going to the beach to sit by the waves and I enjoy going to concerts too. I do have bad side effects occasionally and when it gets to be too much, I need to take a break for a few days. The pulmonologist says I have progressive scarring. I believe the new med would be wonderful if it can reverse this. |
Type of Diagnosis | IPF |
Treatment / Medical Facility | Nebulizer and Asthma inhaler |
Current medication regimen | Ofev and Dupixent |
Lung transplantation status | considering later |
Supplemental Oxygen | no |
Best advice for PF symptom management | Anxiety can make exasperations much worse. I always eat chicken and Rice with the evening Ofev, I’m able to eat what I want during the day
