My husband is 58 years old and diagnosed three years ago with sarcoidosis. He has not had a biopsy. He is a white male with no family history. When he was 30 years old he had a routine chest x-ray and told he had lung scarring. He had no symptoms. Slowly we noticed changes to his breathing. Today he does not take oxygen or medication. His oxygen levels are good unless he exerts himself. He is being monitored by Shands Hospital in Gainesville Fl.
