I am a 73yr old Viet Nam vet and I have IPF.  Found out about it about 3yrs ago when I went in because I was coughing all the time.. Was surprized with what they found.  Said I would live about 3 to 5 yrs.  Well I am still here.  I have used gabapentin for cough  for about 1 month and it works wonders. Have about 75% of my cough gone.
