Short Bio |
Diagnosed in 2015 but my (EX-) pulmonologist made no effort to tell me that Pulmonary Fibrosis was a serious disease. A very good pulmonologist confirmed the diagnosis in 2021.
I am 77 years old (almost), constantly fatigued, with some shortness of breath. Not on oxygen. No coughing. No medications for PF, so far. My diagnosis is Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, a serious subspecies of PF. My good pulmonologist says it is most likely caused by my six or so years of exposure to our African Gray Parrot (now living happily in another place!).
