Diagnosed with IPF in early 2016, after several years of symptoms which were attributed to bronchiectasie. I am very lucky in that the evolution of my fibrosis is slow, and I have not required any oxygen for normal daily living. In the summer of 2016 I took part in a clinical trial which involved simultaneous treatment with OFEV and ESBRIET at normal doses for about 2 months, following which I continued with OFEV until the present time.

At least 5-1/2 years, probably nearer 10 years when I was first diagnosed with bronchiectasie
