My husband was diagnosed with IPF in the fall of 2015 and began taking Espirit (Pirfenidone) in Feb. 2016.  His health has been quite good and each doctor’s visit has showed that his condition is stable.  Since early this year I have noticed that he has difficulty with food sometimes getting (stuck) but is relieved when he drinks water.  His appetite has lessened.
