I too have &#8216;post nasal drip&#8217; which I understand is a side effect from taking Ofev. I also have &#8216;silent GORD/GERD&#8217; which can also be a side effect of Ofev, I believe.</p>

Fortunately, but not always I am in the bathroom at the time. My diet is good with lots of protein and always some fibre. However, it still happens and often takes me by surprise as I do not&hellip;</p>

<p>It&#8217;s strange that you raise this as an Issue as I&#8217;m suffering from abdominal pain just lately, but never considered OFEV as the possible cause. I have been referred by my GP to a laxative as he suggests that my pain could be constipation.</p>
<p>I have taken his recommended medication abdominal it provides relief for some time, but the pain&hellip;</p>

I too have suffered, mainly with nausia and vomitting, but from time to time diarrhea also, frequently both together on the same day. I have discovered that a reasonably substantial breakfast helps me, namely a plate of instant noodles before my pills and &#8216;hey presto&#8217;&hellip;</p>

I am 75 years young and still going strong, although I caught covid in June 2022 which added to the scaring significantly. I have now been approved for drug treatment to slow the progression down and apparently extend my life by up to a further three years.</p>

Rest does not help with my IPF breathing problem. Only if I become breathless through activity and need a few moments to recover, do I see rest as helping.
