Just recently diagnosed with IPF during an emergency room visit. Had pneumonia and during the tests for that the CT scan they found Fibrosis and some honeycombing and stated that I had IPF and referred me to a pulmonologist.. although its been 2 weeks and have not heard anything.. I will seek out a local pulmonologists and set up an appointment. Boy when they say in a blink of an eye your life can change. It certainly can. My husband passed away 2 years ago from Cancer and I was just getting my life back in order. I “was” actually happy again.. until this.
