Short Bio

I am pretty old, but now expect my kidneys, not my lungs, will be the death dealers.  I consider myself to be very lucky that after years of treatments for asthma and COPD I finally found a good pulmonary doctor who diagnosed me with IPF within minutes into my first exam.  Is the disease so rare that doctors can’t recognize it?
