| Short Bio | About 3 years ago was diagnosed with IPF via a chest MRI and CTs that showed both lung fibrosis and more scarf fibrosis noticeable in the left one. Wow, what a piece of health news, I was that at 65 yrs of age, full of energy, and living a normal active life with total cancer remission from previous years. My IPF causing it’s not clear but might have to do with the 13 sessions of radiation 20 years ago, positive for tuberculosis 35 years ago, and smoking for 25 years while law student and Army Officer quite some time ago. I’m glad to be in this great forum to learn and participate with such an incredibly great group of people. Knowledge is Power and health is everybody’s concern and the absolute road to happiness. | Best advice for PF symptom management | Nintedanib (Ofeb) has been working fine for almost 2 years holding further fibrosis spread. There is a new IPF promising trial starting Phase 3 by Boehringer Ingelheim called FIBRONEER™-IPF, a global Phase III trial evaluating BI 1015550. Looking forward to joining this trial soon if accepted. |
