A 70 year old male, I am now into my third year of having been diagnosed with IPF. I am taking Esbriet, full dose, 3 X 801 mg. daily with relatively few side effects aside from the fatigue which I understand to be quite common. For reason of both the med and the IPF. I have not needed supplemental oxygen though I get short of breath quite easily. Attempted exuberance in using a paint brush or wheeling out our trash container can bring about shortness of breath.
