| Short Bio | I am a 76-year-old man and have been recently diagnosed with IPF. I first started experiencing shortness of breath and fatigue symptoms some 5 years ago. Symptoms progressively worsened to the point where I found myself struggling with simple tasks such as mowing my lawn, grocery shopping, etc. I could not obtain an adequate diagnosis through my former HMO. My condition was diagnosed as “chronic asthma” by several doctors including a pulmonologist. In January of this year, I switched medical coverage and am now in the care of an excellent pulmonologist. I’m currently waiting for insurance approval for Ofev and Tezspire. |
