Are there any know studies going on for the cure of IPF? If so where can I investigate?

Hello Joe, here is a link that you can use to find a clinical trial. https://trials.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/

Here is another link I think you will find valuable as well. https://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/life-with-pf/clinical-trials

      Hi Joe & Mark

While this scientific paper doesn’t deal with medical treatment of IPF it does give a clear overview of available  antifibrotic drugs available now and their side effects.

Hello Joe, I am right there with you Joe. I hope it happens sooner rather than later. I interviewed a pulmonary disease doctor/researcher. Here is the link. He offers hope.

The federal government website, clinicaltrials.gov an, a search for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.  The site list current and past clinical trial phases I, II and III.  Additional search terms or sorting (i.e., recruiting) can focus the list to your interests.  I am on a Phase III clinical trial of pamrevlumab, a connective tissue growth factor inhibitor (a human monoclonal antibody) from Fibrogen.  Good luck with your search!  BERT
