Life long GERD. Age now nearly 79. Pneumonia (bilateral) with subsequent bilateral PEs triggered rapid progression of Latent Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis/Interstitial Lung Disease in October 2021. Prior radiologic findings were probably of IPF/ILD instead. While fully vaccinated (re: COVID) this may have been a viral pneumonia & quite possibly a COVID variant. Currently requiring 8 lpm (to 10) with exercise (treadmill).
