I am still trying to live a normal life as if in denial, Has anyone had a problem with swallowing? Perhaps I am just looking for a problem!. Meanwhile, I am the older white haired man in a Facebook family group at the 99 bar.

Hi @bill-hunt, thanks for connecting with us on the forums. I think in a way, all of us opting to live a “normal life” are a bit in denial, but not in a bad way. Perhaps denial is too strong of a word with negative connotations to it, and instead we might say we’re hopeful? optimistic? striving for normalcy? amidst living with a life-threatening lung disease like IPF/PF. Not sure, you’re totally entitled to feel however you do though, I hope you’re gentle on yourself when adjusting to life with IPF.
I haven’t had any trouble with swallowing but others may have and will hopefully connect with you if that is the case. I’ve had trouble with not wanting to eat or feeling unusually full since my diagnosis though, but swallowing so far seems to be ok.
Wishing you well.
Warm regards,
Charlene
