Biography

I had Covid Pneumonia in 2021 was hospitalized for 3 weeks, most in ICU.  I left hospital on ox at 2…24/7 but could not walk a few steps before it dropped down to the 70’s.  Did rehab at home and worked hard to get better in able to  attend my Granddaughters wedding in one month.  Had family go with me and went one day before and left one day after.  Very difficult but I did it.

lungs permanently scarred from this and they continued to get worse.  Have HD CT every six months.  Had bronchoscopy in Jan 2023…no IPF.  In April CT showed mild fibrosis.  I have long covid and now been diagnosed with Mixed connective disease and on hydroxychloroquine 200 2x daily.  In 3 months will have more blood work for that.  I had asked for that in ICU but they wouldn’t give it tome.  Instead they poured remdesivir into me which I think worsened my condition.    Never had lung issues before this or a auto immune disease.
