I’m having a pretty good day today and feel rested. I have been getting tired quite often during the day and I can fall asleep very easily. I went to the pulmonologist three weeks ago and I had my yearly test and was told I am doing pretty good. I am having trouble with becoming breathless much easier than in the past. I am watching how much e […] View

I’m using a scooter today to do some of my chores. It does help and is much easier on me. The scooter is new so I have to get use to it. I’m feeling ok today. My meds are all fine. I take Esbriet and I have been doing ok with it.

Hi Dave, thanks so much for the update and glad to hear you’ve found something (ie. the scooter) that makes your day a little easier. Hang in there, and thanks for letting us know how you’re doing with the Esbriet.

      Best wishes,
      Charlene.

Having a good morning and feeling good. Going to pick up medications in 1 hour. I had a good night. Looking forward to cooler and less humid days.

Me too Dave! I don’t want to rush summer away, but I certainly am eager for cooler and less humid temperatures to be here. I also love fall, there is so much beauty in that season. Glad you’re doing alright, and feeling good. Let us know how your medications start has gone …. best of luck to you!

      Kind regards,
      Charlene.

I am using liquid oxygen, 6 lpm at rest and 10 when active. During hot humid weather my small tanks that I refill will freeze up and I may not get them off the main tank, the bottom fill port will freeze open or the supply line to my cannula may freeze up. I have to carry extra small tanks because I never know what may go wrong. Since I increased…[Read more]

Hi Dave, I can see why this would be really concerning for you! I don’t have any experience with this, so unfortunately I can’t offer too many insights for you. What size tanks do you use? Have you let your oxygen provider know, as I have some concerns that it may be a problem with the canister that is just being refilled. What do you think? I can…[Read more]
