In May of 2017 I was hospitalized due to worsening shortness of breath and low oxygen saturation. Following a Bronchial Lavage, I developed ARDS and spent several weeks in ICU on a ventilator. The diagnosis was Interstitial Lung Disease – Eosinophilic Pneumonia, but later that year was updated to possible Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis with Fibrosis. Three years later, the Fibrosis continues to progress. UPDATE: After Nov 2020 CT Scan, diagnosis has been changed back to Chronic Eosinophilic Pneumonia with Fibrosis.
