Dx IPD..Pulmonary Fibrosis 2024

3rd Phase. On O2 24/7

Approved for Ofev in Jan 2025, but has not received yet.

I sleep in a recliner since 2023.

I am sad because I cannot do what I used to do. I complained ever since I received that 3rd Covid vaccine and became so sick. I kept complaining that I just could not breath. It wasn’t that I was out of shape ..I just couldn’t breathe.

When my husband bought me a O2 Sat monitor that told a story. The reveal was the 2nd CT with and without contrast….and the 6 minute walk.

I am blessed with a doting, loving husband of over 50 years and a loving family. I have the best care giver…

Deb Richardson, FNP , who diagnosed me accurately. Then sent me to a pulmonologist. Her diagnosis was affirmed as pulmonary fibrosis secondary to autoimmune and GERD. He prescribed Ofev. I am approved but have not received the medication. I was changed from Prednisone to Prednisolone which took away all my pain. I have experienced weight gain … but to have no pain and be on oxygen. .I am doing so much better. I am hopeful with the Ofev.
