| Short Bio | Diagnosed in October 2021 with IPF, mid January began taking OFEV. Transferred, at Dr recommended from Memorial in Savannah to MUSC in Charleston, SC. I completed a phase 2 trial (Tavaldi) on November 2024 and begin a second trial on a phase 3 drug (Aloft) in December 2024. |

| Best advice for PF symptom management | Don’t look to your pulmonologist to solve all your medical problems. When I was having GI problems with OFEV I when t to a gastroenterologist and he provided me solutions that took me off the Mari go round of anti-diarrhea meds to laxatives to nausea pils and helped me pair the right foods with OFEV, what to avoid, and when to take my other meds and vitamins so they would not conflict with OFEV. My life with PF has improved greatly . |
