recently diagnosed, November of this year.  a bit of a shock, really never been sick

now out of work, getting use to a new norm. they don’t know yet what has “caused” this

they thought it was pneumonia, anti biotic didn’t work. in the hospital for iv anti bionics and no improvement.  talked out an open lung biopsy, I wasn’t ready for that, from what had read it was the “holy grail” in resulting a diagnosis.

so lost of blood work, trying to find an autoimmune as the cause.  lab work has not been fun since I got sick, veins collapse every time a needle is inserted

so I am very interested in getting a second opinion, university hospital. I like my pulmonary doctor.  I just think there is more to gain from. university hospital than a community hospital

I also think I would like to be more involved in clinical trails.

had my pft’s done the other day, not so good i guess 56%.

oh well looking forward to learning from all the good people here
