Short Bio | Diagnosed about July 2018, confirmed Dec. 2018 at Duke University Hospitals. IPF was found by happenstance as MRI was looking for something else (never found). Very early onset, taking Esbriet 3 times a day, 246 mg tablets. Test shows early presence but experiencing no IPF symptoms, but do have several Esbriet side effect symptoms (tired, appetite loss, sun sensitivity). Happily married 40 years, no children, traveled a lot and have always had dogs (Australian Shepherd favorite breed). |
